The Cottage Place Restaurant is located in an old Flagstaff residence that was built in 1909. It is a good example of the Bungalow style architecture that was common during the early 20th Century in Flagstaff. The home was occupied by several families before Ron Freeman converted it to The Cottage Place in 1980.

Since then it has been a favorite of locals and tourists alike who enjoy its intimate atmosphere, fine food, excellent service and extensive wine list.

In November 1994, Frank and Nancy Branham purchased The Cottage Place. In his 25+ years as a chef, he has received numerous awards for excellence in the culinary field.

In recognition of its outstanding wine list, The Cottage Place has received the “Award of Excellence” from the Wine Spectator Magazine every year since 1996.

For many, many years The Cottage Place has received “Best Fine Dining in Flagstaff” in a poll conducted by the Arizona Daily Sun.
